最近，台新金董事長吳東亮為了11月上場的彰化銀行董事改選，忙得不可開交，上週，派出多名大將拜訪財政部，協調彰銀董事席次分配。這場改選，攸關台新金能否續掌兆元資產的彰銀經營權，吳東亮運籌帷幄、步步為營。然而，家裡一樁喜事，讓吳東亮緊鎖的眉頭，頓時鬆解開來。
 
本刊調查，2週前，吳東亮的二兒子吳昕豪用千萬鑽戒，向交往多年的女友、生華生物科技董事長胡定吾千金胡亦蓮求婚，2人婚期將近。「吳東亮和太太（彭雪芬）都希望Patrick（吳昕豪）趕緊定下來，先成家、後立業，準備接班。」吳家親友說。
 
吳東亮、胡定吾2家原就是世交，如今結成親家，在煩擾多事的甲午年走向尾聲之際，商界終於添一佳話。點我看影音
