爭冠關鍵時刻　統一獅有4人本季報銷

統一獅不放棄爭下半季冠軍，但在關鍵時刻卻一口氣損失4名主將，主力先發潘威倫、羅錦龍及打者陳鏞基、潘武雄都因傷，幾乎宣告今年球季報銷。
 
潘威倫在明星賽前因跌倒，又傷到季前受傷的右手腕，還二度動手術，經評估至少要休3個月，因此本季登板無望，羅錦龍接著因肩傷進傷兵名單，先前曾進牛棚練投，但投完後仍覺不適，醫生建議要休息才能完全復元，因此剩下的季賽要再看到他復出，幾乎是不可能了。
 
兩名主力打者陳鏞基及潘武雄狀況相同，陳鏞基大腿髖關節不適，潘武雄在比賽撲壘時，右手中指有撕裂傷，至今連球棒都無法正常握，按照目前進度，幾乎趕不上季賽，但潘武雄仍隨隊，總教練陳連宏說：「他是隊長，就算無法上場，也可以幫忙穩定軍心。」(羅惠齡／新北報導)
