跟ferry長談過後，魔術強森在8分鐘內，推特連續發4篇文：

「剛剛跟老鷹總經理Danny Ferry誠摯談過，他為關於Luol Deng、以及非裔族群的言論道歉。」

「在我們的交談中，Danny Ferry的道歉，真心誠意。」

「我對Danny Ferry保有高度敬意，他正面面對那些冒犯他人的言論。」

「在我們談完後，我覺得該給他再一次機會，無論是不是還待在老鷹隊。」

魔術強森為Ferry求情之餘，也在推特為「人類精華片段」Dominique Wilkins求職。
