加州強震逾120傷 戒備餘震

（路透加州納帕24日電）規模6.0地震今天凌晨侵襲風景如畫的美國加州酒鄉納帕引發停電，數座知名釀酒廠和歷史建築物毀損，超過120人送醫。

地震於凌晨3時20分（台灣時間24日下午6時20分）來襲，許多人在睡夢中被嚇醒。地震震央在納帕市（Napa）南方10公里，目前未傳有人死亡。

50歲古董店老闆崔波（PatriciaTrimble）說：「他們說地震持續50秒，我感覺像是50分鐘。我太過恐懼，甚至無法尖叫。」事發後她趕到位於納帕市中心的古董店，發現前窗被震碎，櫥櫃和商品散落地面。

地震發生後有7萬人無電可用，至今天下午仍有2萬到2.5萬人處於停電狀態。

納帕市執政官帕爾尼斯（Mike Parness）說，這座城市可能得花上整整一週復原。

這是1989年洛馬普利塔（Loma Prieta）強震以來最大地震，當年那場規模6.9的地震造成63死、60億美元損失，而1906年夷平舊金山的大地震規模為7.8。

47歲奧克蘭助護馬丁（Stephanie Martin）說：「地震晃很久，我想這是1989年地震以來我感覺到的最大地震。」

加州地質學家派瑞希（John Parrish）說，不太可能還有更大地震等著發生，但接下來幾天可能會有數起較小餘震。

派瑞希說：「這是個好機會，藉以提醒大家我們住在地震區，沒有人可以倖免。」他敦促公眾「重新補充地震緊急工具箱」。中央社（翻譯）
