本報訊

（中央社加納阿克拉14日綜合外電報導）聯合國世界衛生組織（WHO）今天在網站指出，在西非對抗伊波拉疫情的世衛組織人員認為有證據顯示，目前通報的感染伊波拉病例和死亡人數「大大低估了疫情的嚴重程度」。

世衛組織表示，這次歷來最嚴重的伊波拉疫情至13日有1975個確認、可能和疑似病例，其中1069人不治。

這些病例大都集中在幾內亞、獅子山和賴比瑞亞三個西非國家，奈及利亞也有4人染病不治。

由於西非疫情失控，美國今天通令駐獅子山共和國外交人員的家屬離境，以防遭到致命伊波拉疫情波及。(中央社)
