台中／胡志強拉鄉民看《魯蛇家的逆襲》

六都候選人們為了年底選舉，逐漸開始備戰，爭取連任的台中市長胡志強競選辦公室，推出首波競選廣告，強打「鄉民」路線，拍攝了影片《魯蛇家的逆襲》。該競選廣告以幽默口吻，暗諷某縣市財政狀況不佳，導致市民負債累累慘遭「討債」，用來對比台中市經濟成長、就業狀況與市民福利狀況，第一集上線後劇情引發網友討論。

主角「魯蛇」一家（為網路諧音用語，Loser有「失敗的人」之意），某縣市因政府欠債，倒楣小市民慘遭黑道討債，一個人必須繳款8萬9300元的債務，1家7口總共積欠62萬5100元，「討債團員」也提醒大家，若這一代還清不了債務，將來就是子孫來埋單。

該廣告還引用太陽花學運時期，王世堅所說的名言「over my dead body」穿插在劇情中，很努力想走KUSO路線吸引年輕世代。後半部則提及到台中市的經濟成長率、人口成長率等是五都之冠，要帶出胡志強的執政績效。
