英男患疝氣　下腹大如足球

英國一名男子得了嚴重疝氣，鼠蹊部腫得像足球大小，讓他苦不堪言。
 
英國《鏡報》報導，英國伯克郡（Berks）57歲男子奧斯丁（Allan Austin）的疝氣原本不大，但現在卻長到30公分見方，他抱怨這一切全是英國「國民保健服務」(NHS)弄錯了資料，害得他現在得掛著大肚子，等上8個月才能排到手術，而在這段期間，奧斯丁還是得忍痛去上班。他說，「這種感覺糟透了，早上還能走一走，但隨著時間過去，肚子就越來越重，最後根本無法走動。」
 
由於手術延遲導致疝氣增大，奧斯丁得花上1萬2千英鎊（約台幣61萬元）進行5小時手術，為此當局向奧斯丁道歉，並承諾展開調查。（余浚安／綜合外電報導）
