前桃園縣副縣長葉世文爆發收賄重大涉貪弊案，也重創桃園縣長吳志揚的形象，並衝擊年底選情，如今更傳出國民黨有意撤銷提名桃園縣長吳志揚參選首屆桃園市長，對此，國民黨文傳會副主委兼發言人陳以信今（7）日鄭重澄清絕無此事，外界不要以訛傳訛。

對於有媒體報導，國民黨高層憂心前桃園縣副縣長葉世文的案情持續延燒重創吳志揚，恐會導致吳志揚在年底的選舉中敗陣落馬，因此不排除陣前換將；對此陳以信駁斥報導內容是空穴來風、憑空臆測，絕非事實，請各界切勿以訛傳訛，誤導視聽。
