【六四25年】UN促中方公開真相

六四事件25周年，聯合國人權事務專員皮拉伊，要求中國政府交代六四事件真相，並立即釋放因為行使言論自由而被拘押的人士。她又敦促北京當局，不要禁止民眾透過網路討論事件。

皮拉伊表示，六四周年前夕，不少的維權人士、律師及記者相信被拘留，她促請中國政府立即釋放他們。她又指出，中國當局每當六四事件周年，均阻止媒體及在網上討論有關事情，認為中方應鼓起勇氣開放言論自由。 皮拉伊又表示，由於缺乏獨立調查，六四事件的死亡人數難以確定，但大家都希望知道事件真相。（大陸中心／綜合外電報導）
