斥資千億的超級韓劇《奇皇后》未演先轟動，以演技臣服眾人的「變色龍」女王河智苑，將於6月8日挾著超高人氣來台宣傳造勢，為海外宣傳首站。

2014年三月韓國蓋洛普公開「韓國人最喜歡的電視節目」問卷調查結果，《奇皇后》榮登冠軍寶座，成為韓國討論度最高、最受歡迎的電視劇，河智苑也被封為收視女王。

《奇皇后》是朝鮮異族皇后奇承娘的傳奇故事，在歷史上記載不多，然而卻具有相當傳奇性的色彩，改編為電視劇後，雖然在韓國引起正史者抗議，但是河智苑以優異的演技詮釋，加上超級花美男池昌旭與長腿酷哥朱鎮模兩位被封為「最夢幻的男主角」撐台，使之成為眾所注目的熱門話題。
