一向尊崇文學的法國政府今天發出聲明哀悼哥倫比亞作家馬奎斯，總統歐蘭德推崇他是文學巨人，為他的離世向哥倫比亞政府及人民致哀。

馬奎斯（Gabriel Garcia Marquez）今天逝世。相當於總統府的法國艾里賽宮發出歐蘭德（FrancoisHollande）的聲明說，馬奎斯的作品給了「想像」1道世界性的光芒，他的逝世等於1位文學巨人的消失。

歐蘭德表示，馬奎斯做為奇幻寫實主義大師，在他怪誕又富詩意的小說裡，重新創造了1個夢中的拉丁美洲，他寫出「百年孤寂」，成為西語文學最重要的作品之一。

歐蘭德說，馬奎斯的作品具有普世影響力，因而獲得諾貝爾文學獎；而他擔任記者時的文稿，和他不懈怠地對抗帝國主義，也讓他成為當代最有影響力的南美洲知識份子之一。(中央社)
