嬤載4孩上山採竹筍　 翻車1死4傷

苗栗縣泰安鄉婦人吳秋妹（52歲）中午11:30許駕小貨車，後車斗載鄰居和自家孫子共4名小孩上山採桂竹筍，車子自士林村山區下山，在一處產業道路下坡轉彎處，不慎失控側翻，4童甩出車外，鄰居周童不幸被貨車壓住，重傷送醫不治；吳女哥哥的7歲田姓外孫女頭部骨折送醫，吳和孫子、周姓鄰居孫女等3人受傷送醫並無大礙，肇事原因正由警方調查中。
