日研究：恐龍是被酸雨逼死的

日本千葉工業大學日前刊登在英國《自然地球科學》期刊的研究表示，恐龍等生物在6500萬年前大量滅絕的原因，可能跟酸雨有關。

據日本《朝日新聞》報導，研究報告指出，隕石撞擊地球，富含硫磺的隕石立刻蒸發，成為氣態的三氧化硫，這些氣體與水蒸氣結合形成酸雨，數日內降到地表，造成海水表層酸化，生物死亡。而躲過浩劫的物種，則取而代之繼承這片海洋。

根據化石調查，當時地球有60%~80%物種都滅絕。（施旖婕／綜合外電報導）
