XP大限將至　美95%銀行ATM好挫

Retail Banking Research的統計數據顯示，全美目前總計有21.05萬台銀行ATM，其中約有20萬台都是運行Windows XP系統，比率高達95%。專家警告，隨著XP安全支援大限即將來臨，等於幾乎全美的銀行ATM都面臨駭客入侵或惡意軟體攻擊的安全風險。

不過升級工程浩大，有些銀行需要把所有的ATM系統，在同一時間進行升級，且銀行內部可能還要同時更新自身的電腦系統。專家預估，包括動用的人力在內，銀行升級每台ATM成本可能在1000~3500美元（3~10.6萬元台幣）。

據CNNMoney報導，摩根大通（JPMORGAN CHASE & Co.）已向微軟（Microsoft）購買1年延長服務，打算從7月起將ATM升級至Windows 7，富國銀行（WELLS FARGO）也表示，他們正在進行升級。
