不敵風化　龐貝古城數處坍塌

好萊塢最近的災難史詩愛情片《龐貝》（Pompeii），讓人再度關注這個於西元79年因火山爆發而毀滅的古城遺址。但龐貝古城因連日豪雨，導致數處外牆或拱門坍塌。當地近年不敵自然風化，接二連三出現崩塌事故。

當局指出，早已不開放的維納斯神廟（Temple of Venus）上周六因暴風雨影響，支撐神廟的部分拱門倒塌。翌日塞諾門（Porta Nocera）墓地1座167公分高、3.5公尺長的墓牆倒塌，迫使當局立即關閉該區。專責龐貝古城維修的官員4日召開緊急會議，發現另有一座古商店的2公尺高圍牆，近日才修復，卻因另一面牆傾倒其上，又被壓垮。

古蹟修復專家去年展開耗資1億500萬歐元（約43.7億元台幣）的龐貝古城修復計劃，但當地官員上月指出，第一階段工程雖已完成，卻因官僚作業嚴重逾期。（國際中心／綜合外電報導）
