英國倫敦欲爭取設立人民幣清算銀行

英國財政大臣歐斯本（George Osborne）訪問香港，他演說時指出，英國與中國積極協商，爭取英國倫敦設立人民幣清算銀行。
 
英國倫敦積極鞏固歐洲金融中心地位，積極爭取潛力雄厚的人民幣清算商機。中國積極提高人民幣國際地位，人民幣清算業務極可能跨出香港，前進其他國家。目前倫敦在人民幣清算業務上競爭對手包括台灣、新加坡與盧森堡。
 
路透報導估計，目前英國倫敦人民幣外匯交易每日均量超過30億美元。（王秋燕／綜合外電報導）
