古巴籍內野手貝坦寇特(Yuniesky Betancourt)，去年球季在釀酒人隊還有137場出賽，結果成為自由球員後，卻無人聞問，今天終於有球隊簽下他，日本職棒歐力士隊與他簽下1年合約。
 
貝坦寇特有不錯的長打能力，但打擊率低落是他的問題，雖然去年有13支全壘打，卻僅有2成12打擊率，過去擔任游擊手時，還可忍受，但從前年開始，便成為內野工具人，重要性也大減。
 
過去貝坦寇特在釀酒人的隊友摩根(Nyjer Morgan)，去年也曾效力橫濱DeNA，打出好成績後，今年如願重返大聯盟，獲得一紙附帶大聯盟春訓的小聯盟合約，只要貝坦寇特在歐力士打出好成績，將能如法炮製，重回大聯盟。（王翊亘／綜合報導）
