【涂建豐／高雄報導】為喚起市民對鄉土的感動與記憶，高雄市長陳菊今日與在地文史工作者於旗山舊火車站共同發表「高雄小故事-旗山、美濃、茄萣」閱讀摺頁，其中收錄41則小故事，陳菊期盼透過在地許多平易近人的故事，傳承豐富的歷史文化，讓年輕世代也能瞭解前人的智慧與艱苦的生活歷程。
 
陳菊表示，市府團隊十分重視歷史文化的保存與傳承，除了感謝這些在背後默默推動支持的文史工作者外，也將延續愛鄉愛土的這份情懷將「高雄小故事」傳承發表下去，期盼未來大高雄38區都能擁有屬於自己的故事，創作的故事也能達到1500則之多，讓新世代更加認識在地風土民情，而市府團隊也會用心持續建設旗山地區，恢復往日榮景。
