A-Rod禁賽162場　洋基省下台幣7.5億元

【姚瑞宸／綜合報導】大聯盟仲裁官哈洛維茲今天最出裁決，洋基隊球星A-Rod(Alex Rodriguez)因使用禁藥，將禁賽162場，2014年球季將無法上場比賽。寫下棒球史上因禁藥判處禁賽時間最長紀錄。
洋基隊將因此免付A-Rod在2014年的薪水2500萬美元(約台幣7.5億元)，但洋基隊仍與A-Rod存有2015～2017年約6100萬美元(約台幣18.3億元)的合約。
仲裁官哈洛維茲表示：「雖然先前提出的211場禁賽是恰當的處分，但我們尊重陪審團的決定。」但A-Rod仍不接受禁賽162場的判決，強調自己並未使用禁藥，將上訴至聯邦法庭。
