美國洛杉磯一名現年34歲的美女部落客露絲‧愛里歐(Ruth Iorio)，上月在助產士與丈夫的陪伴下「在家生產」，並透過圖文在網路上直播生產過程，雖然最後愛里歐仍因失血被送往醫院，在醫院產下男寶寶，但此舉也已引起網友熱議，紛紛表示祝福。

根據美國《赫芬頓郵報》(The Huffington Post)報導，愛里歐上月在家中分娩，期間還透過泡澡、做瑜珈等來紓緩疼痛。而這些過程愛里歐的丈夫也都全程拍照，並上傳到社交網站上。

不過，愛里歐最後仍因失血、出現併發症被送往醫院產子，並進行輸血治療，而自愛里歐開始分娩至產子，共歷經12個小時。
