冷氣團強襲 美北極熊躲室內

（路透芝加哥7日電）北極冷氣團強襲美國和加拿大廣大地區，就連芝加哥動物園的北極熊也凍未條，多數時間縮在室內避寒。

天寒地凍的天氣，連部分北極熊都投降。芝加哥林肯公園動物園（Lincoln Park Zoo）發言人杜爾（Sharon Dewar）說，14歲母北極熊阿納納（Anana）今天大多縮在攝氏4度的室內。 杜爾說，北極熊在原生環境，通常會囤積厚厚的脂肪層，抵禦零度以下低溫。不過杜爾說，「園方沒有讓動物囤積脂肪層，因為在一般時候，這會讓他們不舒服」。中央社（翻譯）
