強烈氣旋逼西澳 鐵礦業停

（法新社雪梨30日電） 強烈熱帶氣旋克莉絲汀（Christine）今天直逼澳洲西岸，預估挾帶時速200公里以上強風，多個城鎮進入紅色警戒，鐵礦作業也因此停擺。

隨著近海地區風勢增強，西澳省（WesternAustralia）皮柏勒區（Pilbara）沿岸的黑德蘭港（Port Hedland）和南黑德蘭（South Hedland）已發布紅色警戒，居民不得不加強戒備。皮柏勒區天然資源豐富，但人煙稀少。

澳洲伯斯（Perth）氣旋警報中心（CycloneWarning Centre）發言人班奈特（Neil Bennett）告訴法新社：「這是個威力強大的氣旋。」他還說，黑德蘭港已出現時速70公里左右的風勢。

「氣旋中心附近會出現時速200公里以上陣風。」

氣旋克莉絲汀預定今天午夜左右在卡拉薩（Karratha）和黑德蘭港之間登陸，當局警告可能出現危險的暴潮，特別是在漲潮時來襲。（譯者：中央社盧映孜）
