孫運璿小檔案／永遠的行政院長

已故行政院長孫運璿，一九一三年十一月十日生於山東蓬萊縣，畢業於哈爾濱工業大學，台灣光復後被派任至台灣，協助台電接管復員，打破日本在台官員「台灣將陷入黑暗」的預言。

政府遷台後陸續擔任台電總經理、交通部部長、經濟部部長與行政院院長，一九八四年二月二十四日，時任行政院院長的孫運璿因腦溢血一度病危，不久因身體狀況不理想辭職，有「永遠的行政院長」之稱。

孫運璿在經濟部長任內，協助當時行政院長蔣經國推動十大建設，民國六十七年擔任行政院長後，推動新竹科學園區成立，引進高科技人才回國發展半導體產業。

孫運璿中風引退後，擔任總統府資政，於二○○六年二月十五日病逝。
