谷歌香港發展受阻　疑遭中方打壓

【大陸中心／綜合報導】網路巨擘谷歌疑似再遭中國封殺！三年前曾大張旗鼓表明將投入90億元台幣於香港設立資料中心的谷歌公司，10日證實已放棄「香港資料中心計劃」，原因是無法取得足夠的擴建土地，但外界推測谷歌在香港發展受阻，恐與其得罪當局，要求中方停止打壓言論自由有關。

谷歌避談與中方網路管控有關政策的爭議，但早在2010年，谷歌大動作宣佈停止對網路搜尋服務進行過濾，挑戰中國「網路審查」規則後，在中國便不斷遭當局封鎖、干擾。

谷歌執行董事長舒密特（Eric Schmidt）上月曾在香港公開呼籲中國當局應開放網路，尊重民眾言論自由，同時批評中國藉打擊「網路謠言」收緊網路言論的舉措。他強調：「只有在能自由思考和表達情況下，才可能有創新。而創新正是中國經濟進一步增長所需要的關鍵因素。」
