美國發行8888幸運鈔　限量88888套

【國際中心／綜合報導】為了迎接中國馬年，美國財政部特別發行編號「8888」開頭的限量版1美元「幸運鈔」，共88888套，並將鈔票放入紅包袋中發售，提早向全球華人拜年。

「幸運鈔」上的「8888」編號寓意「一路發」，每個紅包袋上均印有新年賀語及馬的圖案，非常具有中國特色。每封「幸運鈔」紅包袋售價為5.95美元(約台幣176元)，美國時間5日公開發售。

美國財政部發言人4日表示，自2000年首次推出以編號「8888」開頭「幸運鈔」後，至今已推出22種相關產品，共賣出超過125萬套，深受當地的華人歡迎。
