紅毛猩猩遭斷指　受傷模樣惹人憐

【簡嘉宏／綜合外電報導】4個月大的紅毛猩猩「蘇拉」近日被印尼婆羅洲居民發現，牠左手3根手指被利刃削斷，受傷模樣令人心疼，經醫治後，牠已恢復健康。

由於當地棕櫚油業者大肆砍伐森林，缺乏生態保育觀念，對生態造成極大破壞。據統計婆羅洲紅毛猩猩數量由百年前的31.5萬隻，銳減到目前少於5.4萬隻，環保團體擔心若印尼政府再不重視，紅毛猩猩等野生動物數量將繼續減少。
