有一身好廚藝的陳德烈，日前為衛視新節目《世界我做煮》拍攝宣傳短片，其中一個鏡頭要脫掉襯衫丟向一旁，結果不偏不倚落在監製頭上，讓大夥笑歪，女性工作人員則看得羨慕不已。這回主持美食旅遊節目，將到各地尋找終極食材，在旅行中能大展廚藝，讓他相當開心。

愛吃也愛運動的他，出外景時不忘趁半夜空閒時去慢跑，沉澱自己主持表現的同時，也能維持絕佳體態。回憶胖到87公斤時腰圍41吋，當時的他食量大到每天能吃7、8餐，一餐吞下50顆水餃都不成問題，現在恢復好身材，他平時注重運動，每周固定上健身房3次。

但因外景節目都在吃，有回他稍不注意就復胖5公斤，讓他此後格外警惕，即便是外景錄了一整天，半夜都會堅持跑步直到清晨4、5點，慢跑過程中他常會回主持心情，還會把想法、心得錄下來分享給製作單位，可見其自我要求及用心程度。
