搶搭蒸汽小火車

位於台北市市民大道五段、素有「火車醫院」之稱的台北機廠，月底將搬到桃園富岡，昨北市文化局在園區辦「鐵道文化嘉年華」壓軸活動，吸引大批鐵道迷及民眾到場參觀。
鐵道迷提供1:8.4比例的仿真蒸汽小火車供民眾乘坐，小火車頭燃燒煤炭散發煙霧，啟動後發出「嗚∼嗚∼」聲，大人、小孩搶搭，排隊人龍綿延10餘公尺。
乘坐小火車的小二學童劉小妹說，很好玩；劉父則說，鐵路電氣化後，還看得到蒸汽火車，很難得。台北機廠廠長賴興隆昨說，廠區將開發為鐵道博物館及文創基地，延續鐵道精神。
