秘魯古墓園 發現千年木乃伊

（法新社利馬24日電） 考古學家巴斯今天說，他們在秘魯首都利馬郊區的前印加時代（Inca）墓園發現2具1千多年歷史的木乃伊。

巴斯（Gladys Paz）在觀花埠區（Miraflores）宗教遺址瓦卡普加納墳地（Huaca Pucllana）旁邊告訴法新社：「因為這些木乃伊保存完整，使得這次發現成為本開挖點30多年來最重要的發現之一。」

考古學家5天前發現這座墳墓，但要挖出2具木乃伊花了不少時間。這些木乃伊分別是1名成人與1名小孩。

瓦卡普加納有20多公尺高，從這裡可以看到太平洋與利馬市中心水泥建築。「瓦卡」（huaca）在南美原住民蓋丘語（Quechua）的意思是宗教祭祀場所。

巴斯這座墳墓完整無缺，裡面還有貢品與陪葬者遺體，這裡指的是兒童木乃伊。

他說：「我們自1981年以來，挖到70多座墳墓，這是第3次發現完整的遺跡。」

瓦卡普加納是金字塔形狀的廟宇，占地2.5公頃，建於公元100至600年間，考古學家自1981年起開始在這個遺址進行挖掘。（譯者：中央社何世煌）
