〔自由時報記者林宗偉／綜合報導〕距NBA新球季開幕還有約1個月，球員有的忙訓練、有的做公益，湖人一哥布萊恩便趁復健之餘，飛到杜拜參與健康週活動，他除向媒體表達做為籃球運動代言人的興奮，也再次強調身體漸入佳境，盼能趕上開季。

退休球星也沒閒著，麥葛瑞迪轉戰棒球界，將投資建造2100萬美元（約6.21億台幣）的小聯盟球場並買下該球隊部分產權，T-Mac指自己一直都想打棒球，因為這是他最先愛上的運動，不過也考慮再到中國籃壇奮鬥1年，「那裡有很多我的粉絲。」他說。
