【林金聖／台北報導】汐止分局警方發起送白米濟助弱勢活動以來，獲得社會各界及善心人士的熱烈迴響，募得物資數量逐年增多，今年中元普渡後，分局整合轄內願意發揮愛心的廟宇、善心人士等單位捐贈之白米數量高達18400台斤，下周一將分送給低收入戶、獨居老人及清寒家庭等弱勢家庭117戶，表達警察及社會各界關懷弱勢家庭的心意。
