【綜合報導】英國小王子出生當天，在倫敦白金漢宮張貼報喜公告的皇室侍從巴德（Badar Azim），原來來自印度貧民窟，獲得孤兒院獎學金，才有機會到英國，參與歷史性一刻。

英國《每日郵報》報導，25歲的巴德當日身穿禮服，把公告放到金色畫架上，協助發佈皇室喜訊，但他可是繞過半個地球，才得到這個難得機會。巴德在加爾各答（Calcutta）貧民窟長大，一家9口擠在只有兩個房間的單位，後來他考入一個慈善機構辦學的孤兒院，該校專門讓失去雙親或貧窮的學童入讀。
 
勤奮的巴德考取1萬元英鎊（約46萬台幣）獎學金，赴蘇格蘭唸大學，畢業後加入皇室任侍從。巴德遠在印度的家人及老師，在電視看到他表現淡定冷靜，亦感到非常自豪。
