全國首例　印尼新娘變移民官

【李定宇／台北報導】內政部移民署出現首位考取公務員的外籍配偶！前年移民署招考移民官，吸引近2萬人報考，實際率取率僅0.7%，學員中有3名新住民，包括31歲的印尼籍外配汪慧玲及2名自小來台的印尼華僑，月俸不含加給約在4萬5000元至5萬9000元。

汪慧玲18歲時來台在交大就讀生物科技系，並半工半讀在學校書局打工，因此結識書局老闆的兒子，畢業後兩人共組家庭，她成為全職家庭主婦，直到2年前，公公鼓勵她報考移民官，她考前2個月苦讀，成功變身移民官。
