台外交部：美免簽無法入境墨西哥

【大紀元2013年07月04日訊】（大紀元記者吳旻洲台灣台北報導）近來有民眾申請美國免簽入境美國，再轉赴墨西哥和哥斯大黎加時遭拒。外交部4日提醒民眾，若沒有傳統美國簽證（黏貼於護照上），要到墨、哥2國須分別申請簽證。

外交部中南美司司長吳進木表示，墨西哥和哥斯大黎加2國並不接受美國的「旅行授權電子系統（ESTA）」，國人須在護照上有實體的傳統美國簽證才能免簽入境。

吳進木提到，民眾赴墨、哥等中美洲國家旅遊前，建議先參閱外交部領事事務局全球資訊網的「出國旅遊資訊」，了解各國的入境規定與是否須申請簽證。◇
