世衛28日晚公布的統計數字顯示，總共有1萬6169人感染伊波拉病毒，疫情最嚴重的3個國家獅子山、幾內亞和賴比瑞亞境內，共有6928人不治。

世衛26日公布的統計，前述3國死亡人數共5674人，其他國家另有15死。死亡人數劇增主要來自賴比瑞亞境內，且主要是源於修正數據，而非近日新增死亡例。

鑑於資料搜集困難，且這波疫情致死率高達約70%，世衛先前曾表示，它相信實際死亡人數遠較記錄人數高得多。

這波歷來最致命伊波拉疫情，迄今受創最嚴重國家是賴比瑞亞，雖然觀察家表示，最近幾週以來賴比瑞亞境內伊波拉病毒的蔓延擴散已明顯減緩。

但新增死亡例大部分來自賴比瑞亞，目前賴比瑞亞境內總共有7244起感染例，其中4181人死亡。世衛26日的統計為7168起感染例，3016人死亡。

獅子山境內如今則有6802起感染例，1461人死亡；26日的統計是6599起感染例，1398人死亡。世衛指出，伊波拉病毒仍在獅子山境內眾多地區快速蔓延擴散。

將近1年前爆發疫情的幾內亞，如今共有2123起感染例，1284人死亡；26日則為2134起感染例，1260人死亡。

世衛未提供其他受伊波拉疫情影響國家的更新資訊。(中央社)

日本藝術家草間彌生，作品以圓點斑紋風靡全球，被英國泰晤士報評選為「20世紀最偉大藝術家」。河床劇團擔任挑戰劇場觀賞空間的「千圈之旅」，便以草間彌生的「圓」為靈感，今天在國家戲劇院實驗劇場演出。

草間彌生1929年生於日本長野縣，自小為精神疾病所苦，圓點是她幻覺中常見符號，繪畫是她自我救贖的良方。她在十歲時，畫下第一幅圓點畫。畫中描繪她壓抑的母親，被無數個圓點給覆蓋住，近乎被抹滅。從那時起，她的圓點斑紋爆發飛散至世界各角落，從裝置藝術到LV包包、人的裸體與巨型南瓜。

「草間彌生有種穿透日常生活表層、探入我們潛意識深處的能力。」河床劇團導演郭文泰指出，她的巨幅作品「使我感覺渺小、幾乎催眠了我；只是平面作品，卻彷彿無限深遠。」草間彌生的圓點畫「邀請我們進入她的精神狀態」，觸發他創作「千圈之旅」。

「千圈之旅」從觀賞草間巨幅作品時、彷彿置身其心靈世界的概念出發。以戲盒般的空間，邀請觀眾進入這位「藝術教母」的心靈世界，以戲劇手法重新詮釋草間彌生的創作及成長軌跡。

「千圈之旅」顛覆劇場空間。郭文泰把國家戲劇院實驗劇場原有的觀眾席拆掉，重新建造戲盒概念的表演舞台，每場只能容納50名觀眾進場觀賞。這個戲盒般的舞台花了兩個月的時間手工打造，請來視覺藝術家親筆繪製，並以3台15噸的大型卡車運送，是實驗劇場罕見的大規模舞台設計，好讓觀眾身處藝術作品中，進入草間「圓點」的旅程。
