受外資持續匯出，及韓元匯價續貶影響，今日上午台幣兌美元匯率貶破31.7元兌1美元，截至午盤為止，台幣兌美元匯率暫收31.7元兌1美元，貶值3.4分，台北外匯交易經紀公司成交量5.26億美元。(王立德／台北報導)

| 長榮、立榮合併？長榮：初步評估階段

針對媒體報導，長榮、立榮將合併，搶攻業界龍頭，長榮航今天中午發布重訊表示，兩家公司合併目前尚處初步評估階段，另針對長榮航在美國涉嫌違反反托辣斯法，長榮航表示，針對長榮航在美國因客貨運燃油附加費被控涉嫌違反反托辣斯法的民事訴訟案，已在去年第3季合併季報中載明，目前視法院審理狀況，將適時揭露。（陳慜蔚／台北報導）

| 飛安查核人力嚴重不足 交部：已向政院申請

立法院交通委員會今天邀集交通部、飛安會，報告「大陸劃設M503航路及國內外航空飛安總檢討」。民進黨立法委員李昆澤質詢時指出，在航權分配上，政策面佔60%，技術面佔4成，其中飛安因素的比重卻只佔20%，比例太低，難怪航空公司不重視飛安，應予以修正，有重大飛安事故的航空公司一年不得參加航權飛配應延長至3年。
李昆澤同時指出，近5年台灣的飛機增加了17%，但飛安查核人力卻少了3%，且有7成是約聘僱人員。人力不足問題值得重視。另機師過勞問題也應重視，復興航空的兩次空難代表機師的訓練不足和過勞。他要求民航局修正航權分配辦法及航空器作業管理規則，不要成為空難凶手。立委管碧玲則表示，飛安檢查缺乏人力，都用二線的B咖約僱人員，連正職人員都是兼差做飛安。
交通部長陳建宇表示，已經會同勞動部進行調查訪談，三月底會完成機師工時的調查報告，至於航權分配和飛安查核人力不足的現象，也會立即檢討，務必確保飛航安全。受限於國家公務總員額限制，已向行政院專案申請增加43名人力，其中飛安查核人力增加37人，目前還得行政院核准中。（陳如嬌／台北報導）

林書豪昨貢獻12分、7籃板、5助攻，幫助湖人93比85擊敗活塞，中止5連敗，但同時間鵜鶘111比91大勝籃網之後，也扼殺了湖人最後一絲晉級季後賽希望。
林書豪此役上場28分鐘，直到第3節剩下1分26秒才靠著罰球打開得分大門，隨後又在三分線外破網，單節得到6分，決勝節雖然3次出手未進，但靠著切入突破製造對手犯規而8罰6中，全場4投1中攻下12分。
林書豪賽後表示，每當對手打出小高潮時，我們總能適時反擊，當中每次進攻球的輪動以及全隊無私傳球是贏球關鍵。
湖人此役有7人得分上雙，其中又以替補的艾德戴維斯8投6中手感最佳，團隊失誤也降低不少，拿下對活塞跨季6連勝，雙方最近12次交手也只輸1場。
有10分、8助攻表現的克拉克生說，第3節是我們的弱點，但這次我們打得很積極也很專注，靠著防守逼迫對手出現不少失誤，沒讓勝利溜走憾事再次發生。
此外，這是先後執教過籃網、黃蜂、騎士與湖人的史考特生涯第1000場比賽，目前戰績433勝567敗，勝率4成33。史考特表示，「總教練最重要的職務就是帶領球隊摘下總冠軍，我在這千場賽事中學習到不少東西，可惜距離目標還有一段距離。」
的確如此，就在紫金部隊擊敗活塞之前即傳來湖人被淘汰的消息，因為鵜鶘擊潰籃網後戰績36勝29敗，湖人確定追不上暫居第8的雷霆與第9的鵜鶘，隊史第7次被阻擋在季後賽大門外，同時也是搬遷到洛杉磯之後最快遭淘汰的球季。
湖人在洛杉磯單季勝場最少、勝率最低紀錄，是上個賽季的27勝55敗、勝率3成29，若想要避免再創難堪紀錄，接下來的19場比賽得贏11場，現在看來難度很高。

| 相隔537天 A-Rod再開轟

經過了537天之後，A-Rod(Alex Rodriguez；羅德里格茲)終於再度敲出全壘打。今天面對紅襪的熱身賽，A-Rod在第4局，從紅襪投手渥克曼(Brandon Workman)手中，擊出陽春全壘打。
A-Rod復出以來，總是受到許多質疑，他說：「永遠會懷疑自己，畢竟我很久沒打球了。」相中渥克曼89哩(約143.2公里)的直球，A-Rod敲出中左外野方向的全壘打。
春訓熱身賽，A-Rod打擊率高達4成55，又擊出自2013年9月20號以來的第1支全壘打，A-Rod說：「這總是一個好兆頭，對我來說提升了不少的信心。」（王翊亘／綜合報導）

Motech, Gintech see mixed results for February

Crystalline silicon solar cell maker Motech Industries has reported February consolidated revenues reached NT$1.382 billion (US$43.86 million), decreasing 19.21% sequentially and 27.41% on year, while fellow maker Gintech Energy has posted NT$1.132 billion in consolidated revenues for the month, growing 2.16% sequentially but slipping 9.50% on year.
Motech's January-February consolidated revenues of NT$3.092 billion dropped 22.36% on year and Gintech's sum for the period slipped 14.24% to NT$2.241 billion.
Tainergy Tech, another solar cell maker, has reported consolidated revenues of NT$476 million for February, falling 20.66% sequentially and 9.46% on year, and NT$1.075 billion for January-February, rising 4.99% on year.
