| 九路圍棋賽 東華七號打敗職業棋士

〔自由時報記者花孟璟／花蓮報導〕台灣電腦對局學會前天在國立交通大學舉辦「九路圍棋挑戰賽」，為世界圍棋程式首次以「七戰四勝」制挑戰職業棋士。由東華資工系研究生周政緯、指導教授顏士淨共同研發的圍棋程式「東華七號」，挑戰美女職業棋士黨希昀，電腦以四比三驚險挑戰成功！
周政緯有圍棋業餘五段的棋力，東華大學華文文學系畢業後，進入東華大學資工研究所，經過七年開發電腦圍棋程式，完成具備職業棋士水準的「東華七號」程式。
台灣電腦對局學會前天在交大舉辦的九路圍棋賽，為電腦圍棋首度以「七戰四勝制」和真人職業棋士挑戰。
具有職業二段棋力的美女圍棋棋士黨希昀，為交通大學研究生，真人、電腦對奕一開始，人腦連勝二盤，讓周政緯捏把冷汗，隨後程式以「即時學習」能力扳回二盤，之後人腦、電腦各勝一盤，戰成三比三，賽程之激烈就連觀戰的「國際電腦對局學會」副主席加拿大教授Ryan Hayward，都大呼「好刺激」！

【簡銘柱／台北報導】晚間10時許，一名許姓計程車駕駛，在文山區連撞三輛停在路邊的車輛，現場一片零亂，經過的騎士大呼「怎麼撞成這樣！」，現場只有許姓司機在場，一度傳出受困，所幸司機沒有大礙，只受到輕微驚嚇，警方接獲報案後到場處理，並聯絡受害車主到場，以處裡賠償問題。

| 目擊弟弟被綁架 8歲女童遭綁匪砍斷手

【綜合報導】印度一名8歲女童烏茲瑪雅拉(Uzma Ara)，目擊4歲弟弟被綁架，成為歹徒攻擊目標，在和爸爸前往警局報案前，女童突然遭綁匪攻擊砍下右手臂，女童隨即被送往醫院治療。
這起事件要從數個月前說起，女童的爸爸經營裁縫店，表示當地混混向他收取30萬印度幣的保護費，他報警處理但警方都未受理，他只好乖乖付錢，但混混食髓知味，提高保護費，爸爸拒絕再付，他們就綁架4歲兒子，爸爸決定直接投訴最高首長處理，沒想到女兒卻成攻擊目標。
目前警方已展開調查，緝捕匪徒尋找被綁男童的下落。

【王志弘／台南市報導】下營區一名汽修廠何姓老闆3天前抓到一隻罕見白化野生鱔魚，體長60公分，重約1斤，粉色外表十分漂亮。
何老闆說，這條鱔魚不會怕人，只要有人伸手觸摸，鱔魚會靠過來鑽，狀似撒嬌，十分可愛，頗有靈性。有人出價1萬元，他都捨不得賣，未來會當寵物養。水族業者鍾昆叡說，白化是可遇不可求，沒有固定行情，數萬到數十萬元都有可能。

| 反政府成亂源 又傳女記者遭性侵

【綜合報導】埃及近日又發起反政府抗議，眾多外國媒體前往採訪，現又傳出一名荷蘭女記者被輪暴。
埃及25新聞頻道女記者迪娜札卡里亞(Dina Zakaria)，在臉書上發布這個消息，表示一名荷蘭女記者，遭自稱是革命人士的人輪暴，女記者在醫院治療傷勢嚴重，接受手術後已經出院，這家醫院也發出聲明證實，有女記者遭5人輪暴後被送來醫院。
埃及幾乎每天都傳出女性遭騷擾或性侵，在示威暴動期間更為頻繁，根據當地女權團體估計，這幾天就有43名女性被侵害。

暑假旅遊旺季來臨。行政院消保處抽查廿一家國際觀光旅館，發現竟有十八家、即八成五不合格；其中有十三家廚房衛生不合格，包括昨天才剛獲觀光局評為「五星級」的高雄福華大飯店，不合格最嚴重的桃園大飯店，被消保官查到卅八件過期食品，最久的過期兩年半。
