【陳偉周／基隆報導】基隆市一名31歲謝姓男子，今年3月20日清晨，破窗潛入幼兒園區廚房，因飢餓喝下7瓶鋁箔包牛奶、4瓶優酪乳及1瓶果汁，結果鬧肚子痛，竟兩度在廚房、走廊拉屎，並簽名留下紙條離去。謝男隔日又在超商行搶，調閱監視器，謝男因光頭特徵明顯遭逮，警方依竊盜罪移送法辦。
謝男自稱有精神疾病才犯案，法院認定，謝男有多次竊盜前科，去年出獄又犯案惡習難改，日前法院依竊盜罪判謝男1年2個月有期徒刑，全案仍可上訴。

| 北韓今年進口大陸糧食 明顯減少

北韓自今年一月至五月，從中國大陸進口的小麥、大米和玉米，共達兩萬一千一百四十二萬噸，比過去明顯減少。
據一項統計資料顯示，北韓今年一至五月，進口的中國糧食總量為十萬一千一百七十萬噸，比去年同期減少了百分之十四點二，有分析指出，這反映了北韓糧食情況出現好轉。
另外，今年一至五月，北韓進口的中國大陸肥料，共達十二萬九千九百六十七噸，比去年同期的九萬一千九十六噸，增加百分之四十二點七。研究人員分析指出，北韓大量進口肥料是因為把政策重點放在提高農業生產效率上。

國際天文學聯合會(International Astronomical Union，IAU)2日發表「冥王星之月」命名，分別是看守冥府大門的三頭狗─「克爾波洛斯」(Kerberos)，以及冥河─「詩蒂克斯」(Styx)。由美國人氣科幻影集「星際奇航記」(Star Trek)的熱情粉絲所提名的「瓦肯」(Vulcan)，則未被選中。
根據日本共同通信社3日報導，這兩顆冥王星之月─冥王星(Pluto)的衛星分別於2011年與2012年被發現。冥衛四(P4)─「克爾波洛斯」，是希臘神話中、擁有3顆頭的冥界之犬。冥衛五(P5)─「詩蒂克斯」，也是希臘神話中掌管地底冥河的女神。至此，冥王星的月亮─繞行的5顆衛星，全部均以希臘神話命名。
根據維基百科的說明，冥衛一(P1)的名字是「凱倫」(Charon)，是冥王的役卒、死者的擺渡人。冥衛二(P2)的名字是「尼克斯」(Nix)，是希臘神話中代表黑夜的女神。冥衛三(P3)叫「海德拉」(Hydra)，是守衛地獄的九頭蛇。
至於「瓦肯」，根據維基百科的說明，瓦肯人是虛構科幻影集《星艦奇航記》中的一種外星人。他們是發源於瓦肯星的智慧外星類人類族群，以信仰嚴謹的邏輯和推理、去除情感的干擾聞名。瓦肯人是第一個與地球人類正式接觸的外星智慧文明，並在此之後成為星際聯邦的創始成員之一。

【楊逸民／美國紐約州水牛城報導】王建民今天自行趨車前往藍鳥3A水牛城野牛隊報到，雖然還沒通過讓渡期間，建仔未被列入球隊名單中，但教練團已經安排好建仔接下來行程，台灣時間8日，在主場先發迎戰國民3A雪城酋長隊。
只是建仔目前還無法列入出賽名單，因此比賽時不能坐在球場板凳區觀戰，今天只簡單向球隊報到，沒有進行任何熱身活動，只有與教練團見面，討論接下來的計劃。建仔說：「投手教練跟我說，現在就照我原來的先發節奏調整，明天要進牛棚練投，然後準備禮拜天(台灣時間周一)的比賽。」
明天天球隊要移動到洋基3A主場史寬頓比賽，建仔預計也會隨球隊移動，兩天後再回到主場與國民3A交手，建仔8日先發當天，野牛隊要和酋長隊進行雙重賽，不過教練團目前還沒說建仔將投哪1場。

【張麗娜／台北報導】行政院前院長游錫堃下午出席民進黨華山會議前受訪表示，中國社科院台研所所長余克禮可以在台灣人面前，公然表達「反對台灣獨立」一樣，民進黨人到中國也應該勇於表達跟堅持「台灣跟中國是國與國關係」，台灣不是中國的地方政府；民進黨應該要有自信在維持台灣國家地位，和促進兩岸和平交流和平並進，不管如何，對於台灣主權不應該自我矮化、遮遮掩掩。
游說， 台海兩岸的交流是在全球化之下的一個現實，也是一種趨勢，任何個人及政治勢力都沒有辦法阻擋，台海兩岸的政治主張嚴重歧異，也是一個活生生的現實。他也說，在這樣的情形下，台灣和中國交流在未來一定是無法限制，雖然兩岸政治嚴重歧異，但是對兩岸和平交流的影響也愈來愈少，民進黨應該要有自信維持台灣的國家地位和促進兩岸和平交流可以同時並進。
