紀念登山怪傑李小石，嘉義地檢署籌辦「勇者的承諾—李小石才藝紀念展」，兼弔唁令人不捨的「台灣英雄」。這次展出李小石的登山包等衣物，他的攝影、國畫、書法等，共42件作品，展至8月6日止。

李小石為福建省連江縣馬祖人，後定居嘉義，為知名登山家，因篤信媽祖，每次攀登高山都揹著媽祖神像，在登山界被譽為「登山怪傑」而聞名。2013年5月攀登世界第四高峰尼泊爾「洛子峰」因過勞而去世，家屬遵照其遺願，將他葬於「洛子峰」。李小石攀登「洛子峰」之前，曾與嘉義地檢署約定，於完成攀登「洛子峰」之後，將在該署舉辦個人才藝創作展，誰知勇者溘然長逝。
