【綜合報導】美國俄亥俄州警方周二表示，女子奈森（Teresa Nelson）的前男友曼斯無法接受分手，持刀闖入她家將她活活刺死，之後再自殺。奈森的8歲女兒全程目睹，飽受驚嚇。

根據警方公布的命案電話錄音，奈森打電話報警，在電話線上驚叫：「喔天啊，他抓住我頭髮！他持刀刺我，他正在刺我！」接著電話斷線。警方接線生再撥回去，奈森的8歲女兒接起哭說：「我認為她已經死了。我不要我媽咪死掉。」當時在屋內除了女童，還有奈森的母親，兩人幸而毫髮無傷，但心靈飽受衝擊創傷。

【蔡智銘／台中報導】台中市太平警分局太平派出所巡佐張源逢昨天中午12點多接獲通報，指稱復興街有老人需要幫助，張趕到現場，發現85歲的徐姓老翁坐在電動代步車上徬然無助，原是是電動車沒電，由於老人家住處距離不到1公里，張決定好人做到底，直接幫老人家連人帶車推回家。
　
由於電動車重量不輕，加上烈日當空，張源逢足足推了近半個小時，全身汗流夾背，終於把老翁推回家。半途還民眾看到警察熱心推車，除了上前幫忙，拿出相機拍，稱讚張有服務熱忱。
 
張源逢說，看到老人家就想到自己的父母，能盡一份心力，做該做的事，累一點也值得。

【綜合報導】《女朋友男朋友》導演楊雅喆今天前往凱達格蘭大道支持苗栗自救會集體告官，抗議苗栗縣長堅拆大埔4住戶。紀錄片導演楊力州在臉書發布消息指出，楊雅喆導演在抗議現場被抓走。      
抗議過程中，由於場面混亂，甚至有多名記者被警方試圖架上警備車，引發激憤，一陣爭執後才將記者放走。最終警方以妨礙交通為由，耗費近一小時，將全數聲援者強制驅離，其中導演楊雅喆也遭架上警備車。

【張麗娜／台北報導】三立《54新觀點》昨晚CALL-OUT最高軍事檢察署檢察長曹金生，主持人質疑軍方看媒體辦案，曹駁斥「我們沒有跟著媒體辦案，我們結論出來後可以共同檢驗」，他強調所有線索都會查，且多方面進行，但偵查細節不能多說。

對於與會來賓要求軍中應保護提供具名檢舉者，否則會有很大風險。曹說，「我可以提供更好的」。曹指會用《證人保護法》方式，但也強調辦案要有憑有據，「我可以保證他的安全相關問題及騷擾，我來負責，因為我是這案件的指揮官。」

對於洪仲丘案中不少人遭約談後都要求簽保密協定、下封口令，曹說，「我們沒這樣說，我們不會有保密協定」。曹表示，法律賦予程序，如果是證人身分需簽切結，但跟保密切結不一樣，「我們不會要求，因為這是檢察官權責。」

對於劉烜揚遭下封口令，曹金生則說，必需進一步了解，但強調：「我們檢察官不會對任何提供線索的人這樣做。」

【林志青╱台北報導】警政署公布今年1至6月全國酒駕死亡人數為137人，取締酒駕違規5萬9457件，其中移送法辦2萬3809件。與去年同期相比，死亡人數減少66人，酒駕死亡人數呈下降趨勢，警方各項取締防制作為仍持續維持，民眾切勿以身試法。
