（中央社記者黃旭昇、陳培煌桃園縣24日電）軍檢持續追查洪仲丘枉死案真相，國防部證實，今天傳喚542旅旅長沈威志，傳訊到庭釐清相關案情，下午1時離去。

沈威志上午約10時搭乘軍車進入軍檢大樓，下午結束庭訊，約1時搭車離開，但穿白襯衫的沈威志，隔著車並未回答媒體詢問。

洪仲丘6月26日參加由旅長沈威志主持的陸軍542旅標榜保密的旅離營座談會，會中提出4項建言及提問，包括「連上上士內務很凌亂，還要求他們內務」。

沈威志6月27日突然到旅部檢查內務，542旅旅部決定將洪仲丘關禁閉，連排長帶洪仲丘到新竹813醫院體檢，體檢報告當天迅速出爐。

當天，旅長沈威志接獲洪仲丘的求救簡訊，簡訊中，說自己有輕微的幽閉恐懼症，怕熬不過這7天，外傳洪仲丘原要傳給政戰主任戴家有，誤傳給旅長。1020724

【蕭夙眉／台中報導】台中市廖姓雙胞胎兄弟（19歲，竊盜前科）數月來不工作，數度涉嫌偷竊工廠鐵屑、腳踏車等贓物變賣，上月30日，弟弟偷鐵屑到資源回收場變賣522元，本月1日哥哥涉嫌竊莊姓男子的工廠鐵屑兩桶約90公斤，再度拿到回收場變賣，價值約1040元，莊男一路追到回收場，再追出到馬路上，可惜沒追到。合作派出所警員陳治民掌握此線索，逮捕廖姓雙胞胎兄弟，今天依照竊盜罪函送。
 
警方調查，廖姓雙胞胎兄弟接連被豐原分局翁子派出所、潭北派出所、合作派出所依竊盜罪逮捕，兩兄弟似乎很會逃，上回潭北所逮捕時，兩兄弟從屋頂的天窗逃跑，這回又跑給莊姓害被人追，警斥：「真的是最牛的賊哥賊弟，怎麼抓都不怕，就是一直偷。」

【蘇聖怡／台北報導】屏東海生館日前野放鯨鯊，鯨鯊兩度擱淺後下落不明，台灣動物社會研究所、黑潮海洋文教基金會等團體今舉行記者會痛批，海生館受制於海景商業公司，才導致一步錯、步步錯；呼籲應立即檢討海生館BOT模式，並透過修法，禁止人工圈養、展示鯨鯊。

現場也播放當日野放影片，可看到鯨鯊擱淺時，尾鰭潰爛狀況。動物社會研究會執行長朱增宏說，鯨鯊兩度擱淺後，被拖到外海時，洩殖孔已流血，也毫無掙扎直接下沉，生存機率等於零，他指出，海生館野放不設中繼站、取消「馴餌（覓食）訓練」等，沒有縝密評估導致野放失敗。

海生館館長王維賢坦承，野放結果確實讓他們打擊很大，他強調，事前都有仔細評估，但沒預料野放後鯨鯊卻朝岸邊靠近，導致擱淺，未來會再好好研究細節；至於鯨鯊生死，王維賢低調坦承，「存活機率低」。

針對立委將提案修法，洪仲丘的家屬昨天表示樂觀其成，洪母胡素真說，「即便修法後也來不及、或不一定能用在洪仲丘案，但相信對未來類似案件，都會有幫助」。

胡素真說，這是非常正面的修法，修法的原因和效果，就和家屬不斷主張第三方介入調查、讓洪案能夠公開審判一樣，「因為這樣（修法後）就不用怕軍方未來還會像這次（洪案）一樣」，可防止軍中黑箱作業。

洪仲丘姊姊洪慈庸說，日前與立委林佳龍、蕭美琴等人討論過，家屬也希望朝人權方向討論修法，不管是軍中霸凌、凌虐或任何重大死亡、重傷害等事件，所有值得懷疑的部分，只要不影響國家安全，都應該公開讓一般檢察官調查，防止軍檢包庇學長學弟自家人。

【綜合報導】八月即將在美國開播的美國半島電視台（Al Jazeera America）22日宣布，將由美國廣播公司（ABC）的新聞總監歐布萊恩（Kate O'Brian）出任總裁，另三位副總裁也都從美國新聞界挖角，其中包括有線電視新聞網（CNN）的名製作人竇斯（David Doss）。　
 
出任美國半島電視台新任總裁的歐布萊特之前已在ABC服務超過30年，2007年開始已開始擔任新聞節目的監製。新任副總裁竇斯曾為CNN製作過「古柏全方位」（Anderson Cooper 360）新聞節目，另兩位副總裁芭莎莉克（Shannon High-Bassalik）與麥姬妮絲（Marcy McGinnis）則曾分別任職於國家廣播公司（NBC）與哥倫比亞廣播公司（CBS），都擁有多年新聞節目製作的經驗。
 
隨著美國半島電視台在美國媒體界的大肆挖角，美國各家媒體也開始上緊發條備戰。
