【李姿慧／台北報導】因應普悠瑪號新車陸續加入營運和各鐵路工程陸續啟用，台鐵宣布從9月25日起改點，296班受影響。其中普悠瑪號新車加入後提升北迴線運能，台北－花蓮間普悠瑪號列車將由目前每周74班增加為108班，台北－花蓮間自強號班距將由平日46分鐘縮短為37分鐘，假日班距由38分鐘縮短為30分鐘，運能平日增加約2成，預估假日尖峰時段客座利用率將由目前93％降低為80％，民眾將更容易買到車票。
 
另配合七堵－樟樹灣三軌啟用、屏東－潮州高架路線切換、及台鐵都會區捷運化桃園段高架化建設計畫、台中都會區鐵路高架捷運化計畫等工程，微幅調整各該區間計87班行點。
 
台鐵表示，總計這次時刻微調後，對號列車整體運能東線增加7％、西線增加1.9％、南迴線增加5.1％，相關列車車次、時刻，今晚18時上網公告，民眾可至http://www.railway.gov.tw或向各車站查詢。

【綜合報導】美國紐澤西州檢察官今日起訴5名男子，指控這5人在全世界進行駭客行動，盜取了超過1.6億人的信用卡帳密，讓全球多個企業損失達超過3億美元(約新台幣90億元)。

檢察官指出，這是美國歷年來破獲的最大規模入侵電腦及盜取數據案。根據起訴書，5名被告分別是1名烏克蘭人及4名俄羅斯人，他們在7年間以全球主要付款處理商、零售商及金融機構為目標，導致企業間數以億計美元損失。

【綜合報導】西班牙北部聖地亞哥德孔波斯特拉今天發生火車出軌意外，死亡人數已增至79人。火車司機事後坦承超速，他說：「我希望沒人死亡，否則我的良心難安。」

西班牙《國家報》引述不願透露姓名的警員說法，火車出軌造成司機背部與肋骨受傷，無法挪動。他透過無線電通知鐵路職員，當時是以時速逾190公里入彎，但彎道的時速限制只是80公里。

意外死傷者眾多，附近民眾都趕到醫院捐血救人，多家旅館讓死傷者家屬免費入住，有心理醫生更趕去向死者家屬與傷者提供心理輔導。
