【綜合報導】甘肅天水25日發生土石流，造成當地7縣區131個鄉鎮、1920村、122.26萬人受災，緊急轉移安置群眾26724人，目前已知至少21死4失蹤，直接經濟損失82.75億人民幣。

國道上成片淤泥覆蓋部分路面，路邊一些背山的店家有的被山上滑落的泥土壓垮或是被淤泥淹沒，根據當地記者現場採訪描述，目光所及的所有房屋均被土石流卷來的樹木雜草和石塊包圍，農田浸泡在泥水裡，地裡的莊家悉數被毀。災民表示「村裡的路、電和通訊全部中斷了，昨天全村人都忍饑挨餓，被困了一整天，整個村子都被淹了，很多土坯房遭洪水衝擊和土石流席捲，絕大多數都毀了。」

事發至今已近3天，當地依舊滿目瘡痍，救難人員步行進入救援，安置災民，救難人員表示還有3個村莊尚未聯繫上，災情恐進一步擴大。

【綜合報導】美國性囚3名女子長達10年的53歲惡狼卡斯楚(Ariel Castro)，昨日被克里夫蘭法院判處終身監禁，外加1千年徒刑，而且永遠不得假釋。

據了解，卡斯楚被指控977項罪名，包括企圖謀殺、性侵等。法官表示，卡斯楚罪刑重大，但因本人有認罪，因此免死，但須終身監禁，財產一律沒收，而且永遠不得假釋，並永遠會被登錄為性犯罪者。

【綜合報導】落難俄國機場的「深喉嚨」史諾登還在忙著向俄國申請庇護，美國司法部長霍爾德（Eric Holder）本週致函俄國司法部長柯諾瓦洛夫，保證小史若被譴責回國，美方絕對不會判他死刑、也不會對其刑求。
 
路透報導，外界懷疑如果俄國把小史交給美方，這位爆料男的下場可能會相當悽慘。但霍爾德在這封7月23日發出的信函中強調，史諾登如果回國，將會享有美國司法體系的一切保障。

【綜合報導】法國一名愛飛機成痴的男子，將小寶寶的房間打造成波音737客機駕駛艙，要和寶寶一起過過「機師癮」。

來自法國的「機痴」艾根（Laurent Aigon）與志同道合的朋友，花5年在世界各地收集材料，打造出擬真度極高的模擬飛行器，更在臥房擺放機師椅，貼滿天空壁紙，使臥房變身駕駛艙。

由於山寨版駕駛艙太逼真，連波爾多麥里格歷機場的飛機維修學校，都力邀他傳授秘訣，亦有飛機製造商有意借用他的傑作。

【突發中心／新北報導】國際油價居高不下，竟連帶影響計程車生意！新北市勞工局指出，全市有近3萬名計程車駕駛，平均每天工作9.7小時，每月淨收入僅21,887元，但公車大客車駕駛月薪至少4萬元，讓許多計程車司機動了轉換跑道的念頭。
 
勞工局職訓中心推展計程車運將轉業方案，今年已有66名計程車運將報名參訓， 結訓且考取大客車執照的有49人，轉業成功的有25人，下半年將持續本項方案為免費，且訓後會協助媒合至各客運公司服務，有意願的計程車運將朋友要 把握機會。
