雲林古坑鄉公所今天表示，捉流浪犬貓是防疫公務，贈白米是權宜，決定停止相關措施，持續打疫苗。

中央宣布狂犬病疫情，雲林縣古坑鄉至今有2例鼬獾感染案例，列為高風險地區，鄉公所加強家犬貓施打疫苗及捕捉流浪犬貓，推出捕捉流浪犬貓送收容贈送白米措施。

抓狗換米措施引起正反不同反應，古坑鄉清潔隊表示，有民眾直到今天上午還送流浪狗過來。另一方面，動保團體及網路社群發起抗議，電話或網路嗆聲灌爆公所，有團體發出抵制古坑農產品，讓鄉公所相當尷尬。

鄉公所指出，防疫須積極，不能等待，不能敷衍，捕捉流浪動物和家犬貓施打疫苗，都是防疫公務作為之一，動保團體責難卻殃及農民，公所深感無奈，決定停止捕狗換米措施。

鄉公所表示，至今完成全鄉92%家犬貓施打狂犬病疫苗，將針對偏遠零散家戶主動前往施打，並加強各村落衛教，發放酒精預防意外，對於民眾送來的流浪犬貓，送動物醫院結紮、打疫苗及歡迎認養。

【李光濱／花蓮報導】周大觀文教基金會創辦人周進華、郭盈蘭夫妻，十天前帶著兒子周上觀（25歲）、周天觀（15歲）及志工陳鄭翰霖（19歲），從台北騎單車出發進行「愛跨兩岸，騎出希望」活動。今天上午一行人騎到門諾醫院門診大樓傳愛，獲得醫謢人員熱烈歡迎，周上觀等人還輪流上台演奏薩克斯風、陶笛、吉他自彈自唱用音樂與病患同樂。

周上觀說，自己是都市小孩，單車環島讓他看見台灣美與簡單的一面，更懂感恩、惜福。他還說，大他一歲的哥哥周大觀在九歲時因病截肢過世，他獲知父親推廣發起捐髓救人理念，今天也決定跟著父母及弟弟到花蓮慈濟醫院捐髓比對，希望能造福更多癌友。

周進華說，環島傳愛活動明天將返回台北，隨後就會出發至對岸遠赴內蒙古繼續進行傳愛。
