【綜合報導】今日太平洋高壓持續籠罩，加上來自中國的熱空氣影響，各地白天持續高溫炎熱，大台北地區高溫預估可達攝氏38℃左右，其他地區高溫約攝氏33℃到36℃，中午前後不但高溫危險，紫外線指數易達到過量到危險等級，建議民眾中午前後盡量勿外出，從事戶外活動要記得做好防曬準備，並多補充水分防中暑。  

由於水汽偏少，午後雷陣雨範圍主要在西半部山區，提醒民眾午後前往山區活動要注意安全。

【綜合報導】氣候變遷，全球溫帶海域都出現了大批的水母。中國河北省北戴河是北京人最愛的避暑勝地，不過今年夏天因水母數量激增，截至前天(7日)，已有超過千人被水母蜇傷，單單當地的北戴河人民醫院就接收了1053名傷者，這個數目是去年暑假同期的3至4倍。

當地政府工作人員擔心遊客因恐懼而放棄這片海濱度假勝地，目前已做好防護及應急措施。據悉水母不會主動攻擊人，但觸鬚碰到人就會纏繞上去，並釋放毒素，即使漂浮在海中已死的水母，也可能蜇傷人。

消基會今天召開記者會，質疑經濟部即將實施的新版浮動油價公式，應把中油實際購油成本講清楚，而不是找來一個沒太大關係的國際原油來當指標，還說新版公式只會讓油價愈調愈貴。

消基會說，修改公式照理說是中油的事，為何都是經濟部委託台綜院、台經院來研究，偏偏花了錢又無法解決長久存在的公式不公問題，只會再度讓消費者期待落空。消基會認為，中油也應將每周調整的油價改成月調。

【綜合報導】遭禁多年的《完全自殺手冊》，又奪走二條性命？

英國約克郡19歲的郝姓少女(Toni Haw)，今年二月下旬被發現陳屍在家中臥室，經檢驗證實是藥物與酒精過量、中毒而死，檢察官在她屋內找到一本翻開的《自殺手冊》(外電報導並未寫出書名，恐造成不良影響)，郝姓少女中毒而死的「配方」，剛好就在翻開的那頁。當地檢察官痛斥：「無法想像竟然可以買到這種書，內容真是讓人討厭與反感」。

直到調查結束，日前家人替郝姓少女舉辦了告別式，就在告別式結束後的當天稍晚，她的30歲廚師男友郝欽森(Alan Hutchinson)也被發現陳屍家中，死因與郝姓少女完全一樣、以酒吞服相同的藥物後中毒而死，屋內有著該本《自殺手冊》的影本，也翻在同一頁。

據當地媒體報導，這本《自殺手冊》並不是透過通路商出版，而是獨立發行、在網路上訂購後直接寄送到讀者手中。手冊中圖文並茂敘述各種自殺的方法，與20年前日本出版的《完全自殺手冊》聽來十分相似。《完全自殺手冊》在多年前曾經轟動亞洲，但也因為內容實在對任何年齡層的讀者都不宜，隨即遭到各國列為禁書，早在亞洲絕跡。
