【綜合報導】台北市議員賴素如昨台北地院裁准以1500萬元交保，她的家人連夜花了近3小時，火速籌足1500萬元現金，深夜近11時賴素如步出法院，向媒體表示：「感謝支持我的朋友，也感謝法院讓我交保，我一定會配合法院如期到庭，接受審判，謝謝大家關心。」
 
賴素如隨後在數十位支持者加油聲中，於深夜11時40分左右回到她的石牌服務處，過火去霉後進入，過程中僅低調向守候媒體表示「謝謝、謝謝關心」。

【綜合報導】英國一名28歲男子卡拉(Ritchii Kara)在5年前轉為素食主義者，但卻在去年8月被診斷出染上狂牛病，醫生指這個病在他的身體一直潛伏，並指卡拉壽命只剩14個月。

醫師表示，卡拉在超過5年前吃的牛肉病菌，一直潛伏在他的體內，而當時有關牛肉的安全法案尚未通過。醫生指卡拉只剩下14個月壽命，病毒不斷影響著他的腦部。卡拉說，他想善用生命中剩下的時間，積極舉辦一些慈善活動，以喚醒各界對狂牛病的關注。

【張芳榮／台北報導】2名毒販，因為常碰到警察路檢，知道警察檢查會摸從上往下摸身體和大腿外側，所以，他們便想出新招，就是將毒膠囊捲成毒球，黏在大腿近小弟弟旁，再穿上垮褲，還故意出門讓警察攔檢，闖過5關後，就以此招賣毒給毒蟲，1年來，賺進約300萬元。

警方昨天逮捕曾是獄友的綽號「王仔」的王男和李男，查獲21顆「小弟弟毒球」等毒品，偵訊後依毒品危害防制條例移送法辦。

如「反台南鐵路東移自救會」所言：南鐵案就是「南部的大埔案」；不同之處在於，南鐵案發生在民進黨執政的台南市，大埔案則發生在國民黨執政的苗栗縣。

台南市長賴清德堅拒此說，稱大埔案是「區段徵收」，用於科學園區、住宅區、商業區；但南鐵案則是「一般徵收」，用於鐵路地下化，未來騰空土地悉作公園及道路。然而，對於涉及拆遷的民眾而言，不論「一般徵收」或「區段徵收」，皆同樣是徵地拆屋的後果，所以「白馬仍是馬」。

賴清德的「白馬非馬論」不能服人。南鐵案的「一般徵收」，是為了「縫合台南市」，目標正大，理當支持；而大埔案的「區段徵收」，若是為了建設地方、繁榮經濟，亦不容抹黑。兩案若皆是目標正大，基於同理心，賴清德其實不必以南鐵案來詆毀大埔案的「必要性」與「公益性」；試問，台南的「南科」不也是成於「區段徵收」？何況，賴清德亦承認「區段徵收之存廢茲事體大」。

兩案最大的不同，就在「南北差異」。大埔案，九百餘戶同意，四戶有異議；在苗栗現場，不論大埔當地及苗栗全境，對縣政府幾乎一片頌揚之聲，反而是民進黨及農陣等外人緊咬不放，甚至升高至「今日拆大埔（四戶？），明日拆（中央）政府」的地步。

相對而言，南鐵案則有精華地段四百餘戶未能擺平，街市現場掛滿言詞辛辣的抗議標語，但農陣對南鐵案卻虛應故事，民進黨亦稱相關爭議只是「技術問題」。至於親自為大埔「拆國旗／拆政府」運動送熱包子打氣的蘇貞昌，見到南鐵自救會上門理論，竟演出溜之大吉。

南鐵案與大埔案有什麼不同？只是民進黨對兩案的姿態不同而已。
