南迴鐵路31日發生土石流撞擊出軌意外，據統計，南迴鐵路地形嚴峻，一邊是山壁，一邊是臨海懸崖，自2004年至2013年間，共發生過5次火車撞土石流事故，4次嚴重脫軌幸好都是撞山壁，不是落懸崖。

據報導，南迴鐵路31日發生自強號列車撞土石流出軌意外，鐵路警察局枋寮派出所所長吳順賢說，由於監視器還沒有裝置，因此無法事先得知土石流消息。他進一步表示，南迴鐵路道班在每日末班車行駛過後，從枋寮站巡視到枋野站，隔天清晨不到六點，再從枋野站巡視到枋寮站，考量司機可目測狀況，白天列車行駛後就不再巡視。

台鐵工程局在上個月提出南迴鐵路的改善計畫書，其中便包含如何防治土石流意外，只可惜意外早一步發生。曾參與多次勘查的北科大教授王泰典表示，地質屬於頁岩跟薄層的砂頁岩互層，遇雨土層易軟化，導致表層土石崩塌，釀成災情。

南迴鐵路是環島鐵路最後一段，因地形嚴峻且位處偏遠，日治時代先開通南迴公路，直至1992年南迴鐵路才完工。興建初期，針對隧道、橋樑、地區特有的落山風做一系列的設計，將風險降至最低，沒想到近年來只要一遇豪雨，就發生土石流危機，過去是2年碰上一次土石流意外，但從去年開始連續發生，土石流問題越來越嚴重。

【綜合報導】前伊朗總統拉夫桑賈尼（Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani）1日對伊朗媒體表示，他相信敘利亞政府應該要為以化武攻擊平民負責任，這與伊朗官方論調支持敘利亞阿塞德政權的立場明顯不同。
 
拉夫桑賈尼還說，敘利亞人民先前被政府當成施放化武的對象，不久後又將成為「外國攻擊的目標」，語帶憐憫。另外，沙烏地阿拉伯外長法伊沙（Saud al-Faisal）1日則是敦促阿拉伯國家，一定要支持美國動武制裁敘利亞的行動，法伊沙表示，國際社會對敘利亞的援助，可以結束目前血流成河的內戰殺戮；阿拉伯國家聯盟1日已公開支持美國以軍事行動制裁敘利亞。

【大紀元2013年09月02日訊】在測試了2013年式新Nissan Sentra數天後，碰到了剛想換車的同事甲，對答如下：

問：除了Toyota Corolla跟Honda Civic，Nissan Sentra是否也適合小家庭之用？
答：在日系品牌中，除了Toyota及Honda之外，也可選擇Nissan、Subaru、Mazda或Mitsubishi，三個品牌也有生產小型房車，分別為Nissan Sentra、Subaru Impreza、Mazda3及Mitsubishi Lancer。而當中Nissan Sentra及Subaru Impreza也是剛好是新一代車款，價錢方面，Nissan Sentra的基本型號價格是同級車中最低的。

問：那麼，新Nissan Sentra有什麼好處？
答：邁入第7代的Nissan Sentra，外型上設計更為時尚，跟同廠的Altima採用近似的設計意念。車身尺寸也進一步加大了，長度增加2.3吋至182.1吋，寬度卻減少了1.2吋，高度增加0.75吋，車重卻輕了68公斤。
內部空間是同級車中最大，後座的腳部空間更達到37.4吋，甚至比Altima的36.7吋更大，而內部總空間也同級最高的3,143升。

問：Sentra與Corolla及Civic比較，會更省油嗎？
答：全新Sentra使用1.8升DOHC引擎，汽缸行程比一般1.8升引擎長，有助低轉扭力輸出，在6,000轉時發出最大130匹馬力，以及在3,600轉時便可輸出128磅呎扭矩。
由於使用了動力流失較少的CVT變速箱，耗油量只有4.9升/百公里(公路)及6.6升/百公里(市區)。相較Corolla的5.7(公路)/7.8(市區)及Civic的5.0(公路)/7.1(市區)，Sentra的耗油量也是最低的。

問：CVT又是什麼東西呢？
答：CVT稱為「無段變速箱」，主要是使用金屬帶和可變半徑(錐形狀)的滾輪傳輸動力，可避免齒輪轉換時間的動力流失。而Sentra搭配的是第二代CVT變速箱，比上一代減少了30%磨擦阻力，重量也減少了13%，體積同時縮少了10%。耗油量也因此而降低，綜合為5.8升/百公里。

問：安全方面，Sentra有什麼裝備？
答：Nissan用於Sentra的安全設備，一點也不比Altima差，首先，全車標配有6個安全氣囊；5個座位也有三點式安全帶；ABS防抱死剎車系統、VDC汽車動態控制及TCS循跡控制等都是標準配備。而且，新Sentra在IIHS的前撞擊測驗也獲得了最商的G(Good)等級。

問：Sentra有什麼型號選擇，具體有什麼不同，內部有什麼設備？
答：Sentra在加拿大只有S及SV兩種，前者是入門版，而SV則另加上自動頭燈、智能匙、六音箱音響系統、USB(iPod)連接等設備。SR是SV的選配，主要是加入了霧燈、17吋鋁合金輪圈、後輪碟式剎車、擾流尾翼等。
而在美國，Sentra共有六種型號，分別為S、FE+S、SV、FE+SV、SR及SL。

問：Sentra駕駛感覺如何？
答：以1.8升引擎來說，Sentra的加速力尚可，尤其二代CVT的感覺比上一代有力量。懸掛系統也非常出色，行車表現也穩定。方向盤傳遞路面感佳，轉向準確。Eco及Sport的行車模式的分別明顯，油門及變速箱反應在Eco時柔和，而在Sport時則表現猛烈。

問：Sentra各型號大約是什麼價格？
答：正如之前所說，Sentra S入門版價錢是同級車中最便宜，由$14,848加元起，而Sentra SV的價格由$17,548加元起，而SR配件則另加$1,100加元，2萬不到的價錢對於小家庭非常有吸引力。◇
