【陳方瑩／南投報導】南投縣埔里鎮宏仁國中操場有棵台灣欒樹，上學期疑生病枯死了，校方報請縣府教育處移除。但新學期開始，拔河校隊20多名選手，在集訓1個星期後，自告奮勇「處理」它。

昨在教練張金豐帶領下，先砍斷裸露粗大的樹根，再將樹幹套上粗繩，隊員把枯樹當假想敵，小試身手一番，左右兩側輪流用力拉拔，不一會兒枯樹即連根拔起。張金豐說，上學年是拔河校隊的豐收年，參加全國及全縣比賽獲得超過8冠軍獎盃，部分選手已經畢業，期許新加入團隊的老幹新枝，有更一層樓的好表現。

【李銘宏、林志青╱台北報導】北市1名富二代公子哥昨凌晨駕駛1700萬元的林寶堅尼超跑，經敦化南路時，因後輪螺絲鬆脫，被迫緊急停在快車道，車子飛遜的造型引發路人圍觀，他急叩幫手，沒多久車行來了7名壯漢，手腳俐落的摘牌、蓋布，並阻擋媒體拍攝，迅速將跑車拖走。

昨凌晨零時許，這輛紅色林寶堅尼LP570-4 Spyder Performante ET敞篷超跑因故障停放在北市敦化南路快車道上，附近逛書店的民眾聚集人行道圍觀，《蘋果》獲報到場，竟衝出7名大漢，快速摘掉車牌、蓋上厚布，還用手阻擋媒體拍攝，甚至拿出手電筒開燈反制，危機處理相當老練。
警方到場，確認汽車是拋錨而非交通事故，隨即離開。一名車友透露，車主年約30多歲，是科技業富二代，喜歡玩音樂，他除了這輛林寶堅尼，還擁有其他豪華跑車，因台灣進口這輛車的人不多，他一眼就認出。
《蘋果》昨找到拖吊業者，業者說，該超跑屬輕量化「小牛」超跑，拋錨是因輪圈螺絲鬆脫，脫落原因還要請車廠鑑定，因車主投保甲式全險，維修費由保險公司負責。

【綜合報導】美國NBA前球星「小蟲」羅德曼(Dennis Rodman)，剛結束第二次訪問北韓之旅，平壤當局隨即發布他和最高領導人金正恩的合照，讓全世界看看金正恩也是有好朋友的，但在照片中卻被發現，坐在一起的2人中間多出現了「一隻怪手」(紅圈處)。

在照片中羅德曼和金正恩坐著交談，但2人中間竟然出見不屬於兩人的一隻手，外界質疑「怪手」的主人應該是金正恩的翻譯。原來平壤官方為了讓金正恩看來更英明神武、可以直接與羅德曼順暢溝通，刻意叫翻譯躲在後面，但卻沒注意到還是遺漏了一隻手。

【綜合報導】辛巴威警方稍早宣布，針對西部大城布拉瓦優(Bulawayo)到西南部黃格國家公園(Hwange National Park)，最近連續發生高達41頭大象遭到氰化物毒死的案件，已經逮捕6名嫌犯。他們涉嫌在大象飲水的水池內傾倒大量有劇毒的氰化物，大象引水後就倒地死亡，嫌犯幾天後再開車回來取走值錢的象牙等物。

當地保育專家表示，這樣的毒殺方法不只大象遭殃，會在遭投毒水池飲水的動物很多，只要喝了幾乎必定死亡，另外還會有數以百計啃食大象屍體的其他動物，也會因為吃到殘留的氰化物而死。
