【綜合報導】美國德州一名男子柯博(Brad Kolb)在當地經營一間廣告設計公司「Hornet Signs」，但他的公司最近為卡車擋板設計一系列裝飾海報，其中有一款遭到社會大眾批判，柯博最後決定燒毀海報來平息眾怒。

這張海報是一名女子被頭髮掩著頭，但手腳都被綁上粗麻繩，而海報就貼在卡車的後擋板，若不仔細近距離看，很多民眾路過都以為真的有女性遭到綁架。該消息一出，柯博的公司立刻引發民眾和網友不滿，認為這是在助長犯罪。

柯博日前接受採訪時表示，他時他們設計這份海報，真的沒有想太多。但為了澆熄民眾怒火，本周他到犯罪受害與兒童保護中心，捐了2500美元(約新台幣74000元)，並將這份綁架海報燒毀。

【綜合報導】高雄市中正國小舞蹈班因屢在全國性比賽獲獎，學生須通過嚴格甄選才能就讀；不料這學期新進的三年級舞蹈班陳姓女老師，卻要求學生看錄影帶自學，經家長追問才坦承「學的是戲劇，根本不會跳舞」。

中正國小三年級至六年級各有一班舞蹈班，一名小三女學生，今年獲選進入舞蹈班就讀，一周應上六堂舞蹈課，但第一堂課時，陳姓老師卻要全班學生看錄影帶學跳舞，剩下時間則玩遊戲。家長原以為可能是開學第一堂課才如此；沒想到第二堂舞蹈課，老師依舊只放錄影帶；第三堂課甚至直接要學生玩遊戲。陳姓老師竟坦承，當初是按填寫的志願被派任到中正國小教授舞蹈，「自己學的是表演藝術，教的是戲劇表演，根本不會跳舞！」，家長怒批，「找一位不會跳舞的老師教跳舞，就像不會說英文，卻去教英文！」

【綜合報導】韋汝剛賣掉「前夫」遠航總經理、樺福建設董事長張綱維送的小車，換了一輛較大的日產新車，日前在新家機械式停車場卻上演驚魂記。車門被冒失鄰居搞到掀翻，她也差點受傷，幸好反應快躲過一劫，事後愈想愈恐怖：「差點被夾死！」

韋汝說，當天她把車停妥後下車，車門還未關上，人站在門邊，隔壁車位有個冒失男啟動按鈕讓自己車子上升，造成她車門被往上掀。她原本想迅速將車門關上，但來不及，就立刻衝進車裡，從副駕門逃出，「頂超高的，是我大叫，那個人才按停，幸好兒子不在車上，要不然真的會出人命」！ 因為車才新買不久，只好找賣車的業務來牽走，送修後車廠估價花費要2萬多元，嚇得半死的鄰居會負責賠償。

【王郁倫／台北報導】英特爾開發者論壇（IDF）昨正式登場，開幕首日焦點圍繞在穿戴式裝置等前瞻性行動產品上，並以「超行動裝置」為名，發表32奈米的更低耗電處理器Quark，並首度打破慣例，開放客戶可以指定增減該處理器功能，甚至可以在非英特爾自有晶圓廠生產，半導體巨人拼搏行動商機意願高昂。
 
英特爾昨舉行2013年IDF秋季論壇，這也是前執行長歐德寧下台後，新繼任者Brian Krzanich首度主持大會，外界都高度在看，新領導者如何帶領「半導體巨人跳舞」。
 
Krzanich會中表示，智慧型手機與平板電腦不會是最終的行動裝置產品，下一波運算產品的面貌仍持續被重新定義中，穿戴式的運算裝置、精密感測器(sophisticated sensors)、及機械人，都只是初期應用。
 
Quark主打低功耗與縮小尺寸，尺寸是Atom的5分之1，耗能10分之1，英特爾將於第4季推出參考機板(form-factor reference boards)設計，初期將鎖定工業、能源、以及交通運輸等市場，除英特爾自有晶圓廠生產，也開放第三方及客戶客製化晶片。Krzanich昨也以手環和智慧型識別證(Smart Badge)為應用案例。

Ossia 推出 Cota 無線充電的技術，利用跟 Wifi、Blutooth、Zigbee 近似頻譜的電磁波來傳輸電能，安全，也容易被大眾接受，對人體的影響跟 Wifi 差不多，覆蓋範圍也是如此。目前這款原型機，可以為大約3公尺內的數個裝置充電。

據說科學家 Tesla 曾經想做一個全球無線電能網路，建成後這個世界就不需要電線了。雖然沒有認真去考證，但是從理論上看起來似乎是可行的。現有的幾種無線充電方式則沒這麼浪漫，Qi 是需要把手機放在充電器上接觸才行的，易用性上還算馬馬虎虎，但也只使用在體積小的設備上；而Magnetic resonance（磁共振）則更適合大型設備，比如電動車。

今天在 TC Disrupt 大會上亮相的Ossia所推出的Cota就有些亮點了。這家公司在無線充電已經做了好幾年了，一直是潛行模式，官網上什麼資訊都沒有，這次是他們首次亮相。CEO Zeine 說他們的技術是利用跟 Wifi、Blutooth、Zigbee 近似頻譜的電磁波來傳輸電能的，安全，容易被大眾接受，對人體的影響跟 Wifi 差不多，覆蓋範圍也是如此。目前這款原型機，可以為大約3公尺內的數個裝置充電。示範到一半時，他掀開原型機上遮蓋的簾子，目前的體積還真有點份量。

從現場演示示範來看，Cota 現在可以捕捉到充電模組的位置，然後將能量彙聚到這一點，如果移動充電模組，系統需要一段時間才能重新定位。Zeine 先是讓一個小燈泡亮了起來，然後換成 iPhone 也點亮了螢幕，瞬間大家都沸騰了。以後產品再更成熟時，會改進智慧定位，實現連續地無線充電。也就是說，只要你家裡有無線充電，在室內你的手機就會一直是滿電的狀態。

這款產品要面世可能得等 2015 年，消費者版的價格大概在 100 美元以上，體積也會大幅減小，可能跟桌上型電腦主機差不多大。Cota 自己會生產硬體，也會開放授權給其他廠商，目的就是盡可能佔領市場。(techcrunch.com)
