【謝岱穎／高雄報導】統一獅全壘打消失的19場終於回來了。怪力左打郭岱琦在1局上就從義大犀牛先發投手林克謙手中撈出一發2分彈，而且還是一記在大逆風之下、飛出右外野看台之外的超大號全壘打，神力驚人，郭岱琦接著又在5局上平手之下敲出超前比數的安打，單場3打點帶領獅隊以11比3大勝對手，這一轟也是林克謙生涯所挨第8轟，其中就有4轟來自郭岱琦。

獅隊前一發全壘打出現在8月11日，開轟的也是郭岱琦，不過代總教練陳連宏並不擔心，認為全壘打少只是一時現象，但他說：「我最希望的還是泰山能再開轟，因為他目前只有8轟，連續球季10轟一定要延續下去，這紀錄太難得了。」張泰山已連15季至少10發全壘打，昨天沒開轟，但5局敲出二壘打，攻下本季第86打點，遙遙領先全聯盟。

【綜合報導】西班牙電子化學技術中心(CIDETEC)研發出可以自我修復的彈性熱凝物，稱為「終結者」(Terminator)，將這種物質切成對半重新接合，在室溫下靜置2小時後，切痕雖然還在，但對半的物質又重新合而為一，研究人員用力拉扯也不會裂開。

研究人員表示先前研發可以自我修復的彈性矽膠，還是需要外力協助才能修復，但現在成功研發出的彈性熱凝物，不只成本較低可開發成商業用，不須任何外力像是加熱或燈照，就能自我修復。
